RAO or Ra Orientation is an annual event, for the training of new and returning RAs before the fall semester of a new academic year. This RAO was based off the theme Everyone’s got a story - Whether it's the quiet kid on your hall or the barista who remembers your coffee order they’re all carrying chapters you haven’t read. We've all been through things wins, losses, plot twists, glow-ups, breakdowns and it all shapes who we are. In a world where we're constantly scrolling through curated highlight reels, it's easy to forget that real life is messy and complicated for everyone. So before you judge or assume, remember: every person you meet is living a story that’s just as deep and complex as yours. Compassion hits different when you keep that in mind.
